This day couldn’t have gone better. One of the best things about this day was seeing the family’s unity; I saw it especially in the way that they all danced together. There was so much love and community!

Celma was a beautiful bride! She had her hair done in a long braid and her lips were painted a shade of pink. You could tell that she was glowing which only added to her beauty! I love happy brides, they make taking photos so much more fun.

Marques had waited for this day forever so watching them finally starting this new chapter in their lives was so exciting! Everyone had been rooting for them all along. They are truly a match made in heaven. Continue reading “Celma & Marques” →

Julia & Matthias

I can’t believe my youngest brother is finally married! He married his beautiful bride Julia on a warm, sunny day in July. It was a day like none other; one they will remember forever.

It was an honor for me to be alongside Julia all morning and watch her get ready. The excitement surrounding her was contagious! I watched as her mother added the finishing touches to her hair and waited anxiously for her to walk down the aisle.

I wish you a lot of joy and love on your journey together. Congratulations!

Bina & Rudi

I woke up that morning feeling so nervous. It was my brothers wedding and all I could think about was that I have to hold it together. I thought to myself, no tears, I´m the one who’s taking the pictures that they’re waiting for!

Bina is not just a beautiful woman inside and out, she is also extremely creative and talented. I am honored to have her as my sister in law. I loved spending all day with her, seeing her being nervous and excited about the surprise that she had prepared for her soon to be husband. I saw how hard she worked, coming up with beautiful displays and decorations for her wedding day all by herself.

They started the day together in prayer, asking for God´s blessing over their marriage and their life together. They are exact opposites yet at the same time so similar. Their differences complement each other like two puzzle pieces, creating the perfect picture of love.

As Bina walked down the isle to meet her groom, she surprised him by singing him a song with her dad that she had written. She captured the whole room’s attention with her beautiful voice. While everyone else began to tear up, I had to hold myself together in order to capture the special moment.

As you continue on your journey together, I hope that life brings you endless joy and love for the years to come. Congratulations!

An unforgettable experience, an unforgettable wedding. What a beautiful day I got to spend with this beautiful couple and their family. I learned a lot of new things about culture and families. Once again I experienced the love between two people who want to join their lives together and spend it through beautiful and hard times. I wish you many wonderful and blessed years in front of you.

Rainy day, don’t care. Barbara & Daniel.

I was so excited to go to Switzerland and shoot this wedding; I love it there. The mountains, all green, and the nature are just beautiful! All the days leading up to the wedding were so sunny and warm, but then Saturday came and it rained all day long. But it didn’t matter because nothing can stop two people who love each other from getting married and fully enjoying that day. Not even the rain could stop the two of them saying ‘yes’ to each other and committing to a life-long promise. That day was full of warmth, happiness and love.

Thank you so much for letting me be part of your special day. Barbara and Daniel are beautiful people inside out and I loved spending this time with them. I wish both of you only the best.
